As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:11-13
Lord, we praise you, for you are the God of salvation. You did not leave us in darkness but sent your own Son into this world to redeem us and make salvation possible.
We thank you, that out of your love, you have shown us mercy through your forgiveness and grace by adopting us into your family. We can call you Abba, Father and experience the work of your Holy Spirit in and upon our lives.
Lord, as we look at our world, we see the many people who do not know you. Some have never heard about you; others have chosen not to hear. But we know that you love them anyway.
Lord will you soften their hearts so that they can hear the good news of the gospel. Draw them to your heart Lord, so that as they see and experience your love for them, they may turn and embrace you.
We thank you that you don’t turn away anyone who turns to you and that you bring salvation to those who call on your name.
So work by your Holy Spirit to draw people to you and show us Lord, those who are hungering and thirsty for you. Give us eyes to see those who are ready to hear the good news and give us the right words to say at the right time.
Lord, we want to see our lost world saved and those who now walk in darkness experience the light of your presence and love.
This we ask in the name of Jesus, who died on the cross for us. Amen.
