Prayer Mobilizer
I first encountered PRMI through a prayer seminar that was being held for the churches in our area, and then I attended a Dunamis Project.
Dunamis answered the questions that I had about the Holy Spirit. It explained some of my life experiences had in a systematic and Biblical way and opened the door to drawing closer in intimacy with the Lord.
I’m still putting in to practice some of the suggestions which were shared during that time.
As a result of my involvement in these Dunamis Weekends, I became more involved with the work of PRMI and was a part of the founding board for Dunamis Fellowship Canada.
I was born in the UK and moved to Canada after spending three years living in the Netherlands, where I met and married Marlene, a missionary from Canada. We have been in Canada since 1996 making me a Canadian with British intelligence.
Living cross-culturally has given me an understanding and a passion for missions. I’ve been involved with PRMI’s work in Indonesia and for the last few years have coordinated intercessory prayer for the mission outreach work PRMI has been doing.
I’m an ordained minister of Word and Sacrament in the Christian Reformed Church and pastored in Southern Alberta for eight years before the Lord opened the door in January 2017 to become the Prayer Mobilizer for Dunamis Fellowship Canada.
In January 2020 mobilizing prayer became a joint ministry of Dunamis Fellowship Canada and Presbyterian Reformed Ministries International.

I get to work with intercessors to encourage and equip them to do the work of prayer as well as mobilize prayer cohorts, prayer groups focused on strategic prayer for kingdom advancement.
Watching people, churches and communities grow in their understanding and practice of prayer is one of the most rewarding experiences.
